    Breakfast Ideas for Busy Mornings

Summer is almost over, and school is coming, if it hasn't started already in your neck of the woods! That means busy mornings, trying to get the kids out the door, and having them eat a healthy breakfast too. Today we will share some quick healthy recipes to make those mornings easier!

Simple breakfast ideas, that you can prepare ahead of time are key! But also having something fun, delicious AND healthy are a bonus! Even picky kids will like these ideas.

Smoothies are another great healthy and quick breakfast idea! See my article Homestead Favorite Smoothie Recipes.

A Pumpkin Spice Warm Fall Breakfast - Yummy!

Before I move on to my featured posts, I just wanted to share with you one of my favorite fall breakfasts, Hearty Pumpkin Spice Steel Cut Oats. This may not be as on the go, or as easy to prepare ahead of time, but try it on those slower days, or on the weekend, and you won't be disappointed!

My Featured Posts this Week on Farm Fresh Tuesday are:

Muffins for Breakfast - Easy On the Go!

Your kids will be sure to gobble these up, Cinnamon Roll Muffins from Shannon at Of the Hearth! YUM! So many yummy muffin recipes out there! Use up all that zucchini you have hoards of now and make zucchini muffins, or pumpkin muffins or apple muffins! Muffins are always a treat in kids eyes and are an easy on the go breakfast option.

Yogurt Parfait Breakfast-Healthy and a Treat too!

Your kids will think you have gone crazy, giving them dessert instead of breakfast! Check out this Yogurt Parfait with Fruit and Granola recipe from Carol at Comfort Spring Station! But it is healthy, and if made the night before in a mason jar, another quick easy breakfast they will be sure to wolf down before heading to school or even on their way!
