Hot Coca in a Jar Gift Idea

This hot cocoa in a jar gift idea, is a fun and simple thing to make and give as gifts all winter long! They're easy to make with simple ingredients, and everyone loves them!

– Printable instructions tags – (2) 16 oz mason jar with lids – Paper cutter (optional) – Hole punch – Scissors (not shown) – Bakers twine or ribbon

Equipment Supplies List to Decorate the Jars:

Ingredients List for the Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe: – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder – ½ cup whole milk powder – ½ cup chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips – 1 - 1 ½ cup mini marshmallows

Layer the jar ingredients into the two 16 oz mason jars. The order of layering should be ½ cup sugar, ½ cup cocoa powder, ¼ cup powdered milk, ¼ cup chocolate chips, marshmallows to the top of the jar.

To decorate, print the instructions tags (click thru to website to access!) Cut the tags out using a paper cutter or scissors.

Punch a hole in the top left corner of each tag, about ¼ inch from the edges.

Cut the bakers twine (or ribbon) about 3 feet long, and wrap around the rim of the jar multiple times. Do this for each jar. Add the tag.
