Brew one cup (8 ounces) of strong coffee (or one shot of espresso)
Melt all of the white chocolate with a spoonful of milk in a double boiler or in a microwave.
Warm the remaining milk and add the peppermint extract (or 1 -2 pumps of peppermint syrup). You could use a milk frother if you would like a more foamy milk.
Whip the heavy cream and set is aside.
Pour your hot coffee (or espresso) and the peppermint milk mixture into a mug together.
Garnish if you like with whipped cream and a pinch of crushed candy cane pieces. Or you could top with some dark chocolate curls instead! Sit back and enjoy!
