The Garden Harvest Tally Spreadsheet is a fun and practical tool to help you keep track of how much food you have grown in a year's time. It is an Excel spreadsheet, that comes with simple, easy to understand instructions.
The Garden Harvest Tally Spreadsheet is a Must Have for Every Grower of Food!
The Garden Harvest Tally is Completely Customizable!
The spreadsheet allows you to edit each crop name, or add as many more as you would like! So you can totally customize it for what you are growing in your garden or on your homestead or farm.
How it Works:
You simply add in the weight of each harvest for each crop, in ounces. Special customized formulas within the spread sheet, add all your harvests together for each line item, to give you a total weight in pounds and ounces for each crop. Because there are 16 ounces per pound, this is not a simple formula to figure out, and that is what makes this spreadsheet so handy to have.
Make multiple small harvests of one crop for example: salad greens, or, wait and harvest everything all at once, like pumpkins! The spreadsheet works either way!
Then at the bottom, it adds up the totals harvested for each crop, for a final overall harvest weight for all of your crops put together!
It is Fun and Educational!
This makes a fun family project and is a great STEM tool to use in teaching the kids! It is also fun to brag to your family and friends about how much food you grew, and you will actually have REAL NUMBERS to share!
You won't believe how much food you can grow! And just you wait until it's time to harvest those heavier crops like potatoes, pumpkins, winter squash, cabbages! And if you have fruit trees? Those big harvests add up so fast!
