Our homestead favorite smoothie recipes are an easy way to get all those fruit and veggies in. Smoothies are also usually packed with super food which include lots of nutrition, vitamins and minerals that many of us are lacking. So trying to get one smoothie in every day is a great way to meet lots of your body’s needs. Since everything is blended together, they won’t even know what is in them most of the time. Throw some blueberries in and turn it a fun shade of purple and your kids will be hooked! Some fun smoothie ideas for kids: Chocolate, peanut butter and banana: add a cup of milk (dairy, almond, soy…your choice!) 1 tbsn peanut butter, 1 scoop chocolate flavored protein powder and a banana!
