Fall Yard Decoration Ideas – Farm Fresh Tuesday (#21)

This week in our Farm Fresh Tuesday Blog Hop, I have chosen a blog post to feature, that will knock your socks off with their fall yard decorations! I hope you get inspired to decorate your yard this fall! ideas! First Week of October Not sure how October arrived so quickly, but here it is! We woke up to temps in the 30’s this morning and we had snow in the mountains this weekend. Knowing the cold temps were coming, we did lots of harvesting this weekend! Early Fall Harvest We harvested 3 large containers of grapes, about 2 bushels of peppers, the last of the corn and our pears. I spent yesterday using the steam juicer to make grape juice and got through 2 containers, one more to go. Still have to deal with all the rest though! I plan to dice and slice the peppers and freeze them along with the corn. Then I will can the pears and the grape juice. I still have to harvest and plant our potatoes, and soon I will get our pumpkins and winter squash harvested, hopefully next weekend. Then I can attempt some fall yard decorations around here! Here is a photo of our pumpkin and winter squash harvest a few years ago. This year, we will have a LOT more pumpkins which I am really excited about!
